From the Las Vegas Convention!
 This was my first Restorer's convention (new member), I would like to say that the entire event was outstanding! My "hats off to you (and Bill)." You did such a great job in making the entire convention a success. Not only did you make sure the event went so smoothly throughout each day, but I was very "honored" to see your skills first hand, as you worked with us in person in the various demonstrations. Fantastic job! The expertise also shared by Ernie and Grace, as well as the Supplier rep's; made this event very informative. I met so many wonderful people, who openly shared their experiences, talent, and information. In fact there was so much going on, that I was "hard-pressed" to catch it all. Thank you again for such an outstanding event and for your unlimited energy and dedication in making the Association the success that it is! Ron Aubel

Thank you so much for all the information you shared with us. I've already had contacts with 2 of the people I met there. It was so nice to finally meet you and see your complete dedication to the world of restoration! Just wanted you to know how much Jim and I enjoyed the convention! We got so much out of a multitude of subjects. I just got through ordering a color chart for the Monarch gold leaf. I will tell you that the quality of the types of finishing, restoration, claims services companies that were represented was very impressive and informative. I personally gained valuable information (not all the techniques of course), but the dangling of the carrot to add more services to our company. Marble and stone repair, gilding, and the possibility of getting into transit claims. I met several members of the CPPC, members of the Premiere Service Group, and many artists who are accomplished in the repair of porcelain, Dresden lace, crystal, ivory. Firstly, let me say how much Angela and I enjoyed the convention! We met new friends, we developed new skills, and found new materials, could not ask for much more! It was certainly worth the trip from the UK! Roger and Angela Carter
The convention was truly a lifesaver for me! I have been in this business for around 6 years and have had no one until now to talk with if I had a problem with something or just to trade ideas. Just finding a supply source was a life saver. I really look forward to the coming year with all this new information and contacts and what it will do for my business. Sharon Zorella

First it was a wonderful convention! I really enjoyed myself and learned a lot. The interaction with other restoreres is something that everyone needs, it gives you ideas and lets you go off on tangents that you would have never found by oneself.
