She received her degree from Marymount University in Graphic Design in 1989. She worked in the Graphic Design field while her husband was in the military. When her husband left the military, she learned from her parents the restoration business about 10 years ago and took over their business about 7 years ago. She also took courses from Bradshaw and Whelan in Asheville, N.C.

She prefers using Hxtal and cold glaze on most of the restorations she does.

She is married to Steve; they have 2 children ages 9 and 11 and live and work in Baltimore Maryland.
